Some more junk from me this month, as always probably not worth reading...

Anyway im planning a big internet release of over 5 years worth of BMX photos.. it is slowly happening, just wanna do my tax return first, buy a better scanner and get someone to design me a nice font which I can use as a website logo and watermark for my photos before putting them on the net. Paying the web hosting fees for nathanbeddows.co.uk might also be a good start... LOL!!!111ONE I'd rather put that though then make one of those photographer websites you see that says - 'work in progress' or 'check back soon, under construction' or whatever bollocks. If youre gonna do it you might as well do it good from day 1 right?

So anyway after 3 weeks of being in China and not listening to much else but the Zinc crackhouse mix I realised that at 24.11 I thought I could hear a 3rd track in the background - yes whoever thought a dizzy rascal remix could actually sound good?!? crazy really, bonkers some might say.

I'm still not 100% sure but i think it's 808 State Pacific State, so i youtubed that and got this beast...

Rewind it and leave it ready to go for the next day. The VHS copy sits in a box somewhere at my mums house, along with Thunder, ECD 4, Nowhere Fast and On the Down Low amongst many other gems.. fuck should really go home and dig em out... Maybe at xmas?

I dunno you see that's the problem with the internet you can nick anything and then the dude who's done the work - the shooting, the scanning, the photoshopping etc gets no kudos. Unless they leave a butt ugly watermark on their shit. WATERMARKS are so fucking rank it hurts...

Can't bothered with the internet right now. Self obsession and pointless promotion can wait a few months. When your life is a monthly deadline it's so easy to put shit off till next month...

Heres some much better things I need to do:

1. Enjoy summer, cos it'll be gone before you know it. I know that, you know that, let's dance!

2. Sort out over 1tb worth of un-seen photos, maybe put em on my flickr account? (feel bad for the people who add me thinking I'm gonna put rad stuff on there... I aint got time maaarrrte!)

3. Buy a new car and maybe find somewhere new to live preferably with garage to fix said dream car which will no doubt break down all the time...

4. Do tax return... eeeuuurggh

Quick test on the new Quadra Ranger! My housemate Ed Preston, aka: 'The Robot Man', slamming in a whip wall-stall down Botto.

Geek data: Velvia 100 (shot and dev'd at 100) 1/500 @ F8. Quadra on cam right shot at full power! (400ws) with 2 SB28's over to the left on 1/4 power to give a bit catch/fill. Ambient might of been about F4 (I can't 100% remember) but the sun was going down super quick from the first metering. Full power on the Quadra (with the A head - which is what I bought) still gives a flash duration of 1/3000!!! - I think my old Metz 45ct did 1/300 on full power just to put things in perspective a bit...

My new Hasselblad is kicking the Bronica's arse too. The screen is like 10 million times brighter, it fires the same time you press the shutter... and I've got a fish for it... MWUHAHAHAHAHA!
